Head to the left of Callisto, hair tied back, all in a hollow square., Zeus Lykaios seated on the left, holding a long scepter in his left hand, stretching his right arm forward to give flight to a bird., Hemidrachm of an insignificant rarity, very rarely seen in sale with less than ten examples in the last two decades. The example we are selling here, with its early Classical engraving style and archaic influence in the writing of the caption, as well as being retrograde, is covered in a superb patina with iridescent tones. Tête à gauche de Callisto, les cheveux noués à l'arrière, le tout dans dans un carré creux., Zeus Lykaios assis à gauche, tenant un long sceptre dans la main gauche, tendant le bras droit vers l'avant pour donner l'envol à un oiseau., Hémidrachme d'une insigne rareté, très rarement vu en vente, avec moins de dix exemplaires ces deux dernière décennies. L'exemplaire que nous proposons à la vente, dans un style de gravure du début de la période Classique, avec encore une influence archaïque avec la graphie de la légende, en plus d'être rétrograde, est recouvert d'une superbe patine aux reflets iridescents.
